Carolyn Sue Quick

Carolyn Sue Quick, of Conyers, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 92. Mrs. Quick was a beloved member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Macon, GA. She began attending the church in 1975 and was a devoted and faithful member throughout her life. A true pillar of her family, Mrs. Quick’s love and dedication to her loved ones were unwavering. Family was her main focus, and she played a central role in nurturing and supporting those closest to her. She retired from the Avon Corporation with 20 plus years and then spent another 20 years as a valued employee at Southern Machine Specialist working closely with her family. Mrs. Quick had a passion for arts and crafts, especially ceramics, and enjoyed the thrill of both hosting and visiting yard sales. Her thrifty nature and creative spirit were evident in all that she did. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched with her kindness, faith, and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ed and Pearl Victoria Reagin; siblings, Coe Reagan, Horace Reagin, Marie Williams, Charles Reagin, Irene Mitchelle, Julia Neese, Elizabeth Hall, Betty Sawyer. 

Survivors include her children, Richard Curtis Quick, Susan Elaine Quick, Charles Timothy Quick, Phillip Darrell Quick (Tammy); grandchildren, Jonathan Quick (Cheryl), LaDonna Smith (Chris), William Quick (Ashley), Duane Quick (Elizabeth), Kelly Green, Halston Quick, Ryan Quick (Krista), Jessica Burke (Matt), Matthew Quick, Travis Quick (Alana), Lauren Johnson (Dylan), Brigit Barlow (Tommy), Chad Bosson, Noah Quick; 30 great-grandchildren; as well as 8 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Quick will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, 12 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington with interment following in Smyrna Presbyterian Church, in Conyers. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service, from 11:00 – 12:00 P.M.
