Catherine M. Meyer

Access RoadCatherine M. Meyer of Covington, passed away at her home, August 13, 2010, at the age of 98. Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Catholic Daughters, and long-time member of The Steuben Society of America, an educational, fraternal, and patriotic organization of American citizens of German background. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, and cards; but most important to her was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Meyer was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Meyer; daughter, Rosemarie C. Meyer; son, Herbert H. Meyer; grandson, Mark Patterson; and her parents, Anthony and Katherine (Wiener) Dietz. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Harold Stoltz of Covington; granddaughters, Joan Layte, Linda Higgins, Katherine Ternes, grandsons, Anthony Patterson, Kurt Stoltz, Michael Stoltz; great-grandchildren, Courtney Higgins, Derek Higgins, Kathryn Ternes; she is a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and  numerous cousins. A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Meyer will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 3:00 PM, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., in Covington, Monday, August 16, from 6-8 PM.
