Charles Winston Bone

Charles Winston Bone of Covington, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the age of 75. Mr. Bone enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, traveling to St. Simons and creating things with his hands. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Bone was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Rebecca Bone, whom he cherished and adored; son, Eric Bone; father, James Edward Bone; sisters, Annette Bone, Patricia Middlebrooks; brothers, Howell Bone and Jim Bone.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Scott Brooks; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Edie Bone, Kevin and Angela Bone; grandchildren, Elizabeth Owensby, Rebecca Cossiboon, Austin Bone, Logan Brooks, Lilly Brooks, Travis Frisbey, Tiffany Knight; great-grandchildren, Farrah Owensby, Eva Owensby, Bailey Bone, Tabitha Cossiboon, Kaine Cossiboon, Ariana Reed, Travis Frisbey, Jr., Brooklyn Frisbey, Tyler Knight, Faith Knight; mother, Retha Bone; sisters, Ginger Tucker, Nancy Knight; brother and sisters-in-law, Greg and Marie Bone, Carol Bone; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Bone will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 4:00 P.M., at Prospect United Methodist Church, 6752 Highway 212, Covington, with Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Monday, July 15, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 Westpark Drive, Suite C, Athens, GA 30346 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
