Roswell

Affectionately known as “K.B.” or “Ken”

Charles Kenneth Brown, beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. Born on April 11, 1939, in Haralson County, Georgia, Ken lived a full and generous life dedicated to family, service and community. He was a long-time resident of Roswell, Georgia, where he loved interacting with his neighbors and their 4-legged friends daily.

Ken graduated from Haralson County High School and went on to earn a degree from Georgia State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and carried the discipline and dedication he learned there into a long and successful life as a businessman and entrepreneur. Known for his sharp mind and tireless work ethic, he inspired many with his passion for business and his willingness to guide others.

An avid golfer and lifelong animal lover, Ken’s warmth and humor touched everyone he met. To his family, he was “Uncle Ken”—a treasured mentor and role model who encouraged, supported, and deeply loved several generations of nieces and nephews.

Ken is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Barbara Farrow Brown; his sisters, Linda Pierce and Sharon Brown; and countless family members and friends who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clarence Brown and Irene Watts Brown; and by his siblings Marvin Brown, Jewell Brand, Louise Brown, Gladys Entrekin, Peggy Brown, James C. Brown, Jr., and Edward Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Ken’s generous spirit and lifelong compassion.
