Charles Wayne Sears

Charles Wayne Sears, of Covington, passed away February 10, 2015, at the age of 70. Charles, a member of Newton Baptist Church, was born to Dewey Mayson and Erma (Kitchens) Sears, who preceded him in death. Charles cherished his family and loved spending time with them. He retired from Delta Airlines after 33 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marsha McCall Sears; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim Singley, Valorie and Jeff Fletcher; grandchildren, John Singley, Kaitlyn Patrick; sister, Jan Hall, all of Covington; sister-in-law, Becky Sears McCullough; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Charles will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, 1:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. J.B. Leachman and Rev. Tony Howeth officiating with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, February 13, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
