Charles Sanford Parker

Charles Sanford Parker, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the age of 79. Mr. Parker was a hardworking man and enjoyed working on his cars and his 51 Chevrolet pickup truck, being outdoors, traveling to the mountains and woodworking. He will be remembered as a family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, James Howard and Millie Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Parker; daughter, Becky Ann Parker; son, Donny Parker and wife, Jessica Parker; grandchildren, Chris Parker, Chad Parker, Cameron Parker, Robert Seago, Nicholas Johnson, Haylie Cross, Nikki Aitken, John Parker; great-grandchildren, Harlee Parker, Augustus Seago, Bethany Seago, Grayson Parker, Preston Parker, Micah Parker, Connor Cross.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Parker will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Minister Bobby Tomlin officiating,  and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
