Cindee Elizabeth Latray

Cindee Elizabeth LaTray of Forsyth passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 57. Cindee
enjoyed spending time outdoors, porch-sitting, and fishing. She was an avid music enthusiast, and one
of her favorite bands was the Contemporary Christian Music band Third Day. Cindee loved sweet tea,
but she enjoyed making people laugh even more. She was well-known for helping anybody who needed
it, whether they were close family members or complete strangers. She loved God, her family, and her
friends; she treasured her grandkids and her grand dogs. She was preceded in death by: her late
husband, Michael Wayt, Sr.; her mother, Marsha Britt; her father, Willis Britt; her brother, Ed Britt; and
her sister-in-law, Bobbi Wayt.
Survivors include: her husband, Rupert Latray; her daughters, Jaymee Wayt, Manami Wayt, and
Michayla LaTray; her sons, Michael Wayt, Jr., TJ Wayt, and Ryan LaTray; her grandsons, Asahi Wayt and
Haruhi Wayt; her sisters, Sandee Britt, Tammee Holbrook, Tracee Britt-Lane, Chrissee Faulkner, and Lou
Garner; and her brother, James Britt.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 14 th , 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Caldwell &
Cowan, 1215 Access Road in Covington. Pastor Rick Jackson will be officiating. Friends are invited to
visit with the family at the funeral home prior to her service from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
