Clyde D. Beasley

Access RoadClyde D. Beasley of Covington, passed away May 7, 2010, at the age of 78. Mr. Beasley lived for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed yard work and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Myrtle (Rowe) Beasley; his sister, Vidonia Beasley; and brother, Lee Beasley. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen (Richardson) Beasley; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Renee Gray of Covington, Blake and Rosemary Gray of Stockbridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Othelia Hurst of Loganville, GA, Olivia and Robert Van Houten of San Diego, CA, Lear Frix of Miami, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Jo Beasley of Gainsville, GA; grandchildren, Mandy and her husband, Tim Aikens, Mitchell Gray; great-grandchildren, Timothy Aikens and Dalton Aikens. Funeral Services for Mr. Beasley will be held Monday, May 10, 2010, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, May 9, from 5-7 PM.
