Collier Howard Rowe

Collier Howard Rowe, of Oxford, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the age of 79. Mr. Rowe was a proud patriot, serving in the National Guard. He enjoyed teeing up the greens playing golf. Mr. Rowe spent most of the time with his grandkids and loved every moment spent with them. Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by his parents, Ona Lou Dillard and Claude Hueston Rowe; sisters, Joyce West, Helen Leavitt, brothers, Freeman Rowe, Dillard Rowe; and niece Valerie Pye.

Mr. Rowe is survived by his daughters, Natalie Minor (Chris), Sonya Rowe, Rhonda Leatherwood; grandchildren, Emily Minor, Lainey Minor, Cason Minor, Sidney Minor, Harley Minor, Ashley Walls; niece, Keeva Henderson (Scott); nephew, John Leavitt; and great-nephew, Matthew Henderson.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Rowe will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, 2:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
