Connie F. Wright, a lifelong resident of Newton County, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 61. Mrs. Wright was a member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church, in Oxford. She was a loving, caring, and strong woman. Mrs. Wright was devoted to her husband and cherished her family and friends dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Felton Farmer; and brother, Barry Farmer.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Wright; daughter, Christin Rhoades (Chad); grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Angel Willcutt; mother, Lillian Farmer; sister, Sandra K. Hewell (Corrie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with Dr. Jerry Barrett officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. It is the family's request that love offerings may be directed to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
