Floyd StreetDanny Boy Capes of Covington, passed away March 15, 2011, at the age of 44. He was born in Covington, and lived most of his life here. Danny Boy was a former employee of David Franklin & Associates, where he worked as a booking agent. He had a great knowledge of computers, and enjoyed working with them. Danny Boy served as an extra in several movies and shows, including: "The Walking Dead", "Vampire Diaries", "My Valentine", and "Drop Dead Diva". Survivors include his mother, Judy Atkins of Covington; father, Roger Capes of White Plains; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Johnny Johnson of Buckhead; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Amanda Atkins of Covington; nieces, Fantasia Johnson, Amber Atkins, Lauren Atkins, Lilly Atkins; nephews, Russell Lindsey Atkins, Branson Johnson; aunts and uncles, Peggy and Curtis Mitchell, Richard Nelson, Robert Nelson, Renea and Don Pillivant, Deborah and Paul Autry, Larry and Peggy Gordon, Earl and Kathy Capes, Tillman and Jeanne Capes.Funeral Services for Danny Boy will be held Friday, March 18, 2011, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 17, from 6-9 PM.
