Danny Long

Danny Long, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 78. Mr. Long was a member of New Life Praise Center. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, sports, and especially going to the Falcons game. Mr. Long liked getting up early in the morning and meeting the Lord, and enjoyed going on walks. He loved his Lord and his family dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra P. Long; children, Wanda Kay Johnson, Barry Scott James, David Wesley James, Jasper Wayman Crooms, Anthony Lavern Crooms, Kitty Elizabeth Long; grandchildren, Josh, Garren, Chris, Justin, Victoria, Swade, Danielle, Cassidy, Seth, Jacob, Mackenzie; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Long will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, 4:00 P.M., at New Life Praise Center, 8111, Brown Bridge Road, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating.
