Daryl Herbert Norman

Access RoadDaryl Herbert Norman of Covington, passed away March 10, 2013, at the age of 59. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Daryl was a member of High Point Baptist Church; and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and baseball. He is loved, and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Daryl Norman; and his parents, Henry and Lillian (Hodges) Norman.Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Sammy Herring of Covington, Joanne and Phil Phillips of Rutledge; nieces, Heather and Clint Adamson, Blaine Phillips and Jay Levan; nephews, Gregory S. Herring, Scott and Shellie Herring, Greg and Christy Phillips, Brandon and Jessie Phillips; great-nieces and great-nephews; several aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service for Daryl will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Scott Herring officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605, or another charity of choice.
