Access RoadDavid Lewis Hunt, Sr., of Covington, passed away December 19, 2011, at the age of 55. Mr. Hunt worked for C&D Batteries for 34 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed his time with his granddaughter. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his father, James Lewis Hunt.Survivors include his son, David Lewis Hunt, Jr., of Covington; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Hunt of Conyers; mother, Lucille M. Hunt of Conyers; brothers and sister-in-law, James Phillip Hunt, Gary Lee and Cindy Hunt, all of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheryl and Ed Long of Covington, Charlotte and Glen Lewis of Gainesville, Terri Hunt, Jerri Hunt, both of Conyers; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mr. Hunt will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Gavin Moon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, from 2:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
