David Thomas Sullivan

David Thomas Sullivan, of Oxford, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, surrounded by his family, at the age of 64. Mr. Sullivan was employed by Georgia Power and retired after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a former Shriner and Mason. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family, and vacationing on Treasure Island, Florida. Mr. Sullivan was an avid sports fan – he liked watching the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves play and coaching his son’s baseball teams when they were younger. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas and Virginia Sullivan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Beth Sullivan; sons, Seth Sullivan (Laura), Zack Sullivan; sister, Susan Sullivan Moore; brother, Danny Sullivan (Kristen); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Sullivan will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Tracy Crawford officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Monday, October 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
