Dennis Hyde

Dennis Hyde of Mansfield passed away May 20, 2016, at the age of 59. Dennis was a member of Gaithers United Methodist Church, where he served as a trustee, on the finance committee and helped with the worship music. He owned and operated D & D Septic Tank Services from 1980 - 1988, and D & J's Trenching Services since 1992. A kind and forgiving man, he had a great sense of humor and was very business savvy. Dennis was a visionary with an excellent imagination. A loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ross and Sarah Hyde.

Survivors include his wife, Jeana Hyde; children and their spouses, Kerre and Jason Streetman of Covington, Jason and Della Hyde of Oxford, Ashlan and Blake Norwood, Abigail Hyde all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Macy Streetman, Caitlin Streetman, Austin Streetman, Blake Griffis, Ethan Hyde, Braxton Hyde and Dennis Hyde; sister, Carolyn Hyde Wismer of Covington.

Funeral Services for Dennis will be held Monday, May 23, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Gaithers United Methodist Church, with Rev. Danny Standard and Rev. Andy Parker officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation Sunday, May 22, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington. Flowers are accepted, or contributions may be made in his memory to Gaithers United Methodist Church, 1375 Newton Factory Bridge Road, Covington, GA 30014.
