Dianne Mathis

Dianne Mathis of Jersey, passed away June 6, 2015, at the age of 66. Dianne was a very active member of Full Gospel Holiness Church, where she in delighted singing in the choir. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and put others before herself. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed traveling to Indiana to visit her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dewey Mathis; parents, Jeff Harold and Sara Annette Long.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Sam Racster of Portland, IN; grandchildren, Matalin and Dylan Racster; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Charles Autry of Social Circle, Becky and Snooky Wright of Monroe, Kaye and Randell Allgood of Jersey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Bessie Long of Eaton, SC, Jack and Ida Long of Scottsdale, AZ; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mathis will be held Monday, June 8, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Full Gospel Holiness Church, 3170 Highway 138 NW, Monroe, GA 30655, with Rev. Larry Carter, Rev. Randell Allgood and Rev. Lynn Head officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Sunday June 7, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
