Donald Cook

Donald Cook, of Covington, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the age of 83. Mr. Cook was a member of Eastridge Community Church and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He enjoyed listening to country music, dancing at the American Legion, and going on vacations and road trips. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Henrietta Cook.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary Cook; children, Deedee Turner (Jeff), Micheal Cook (Debbie), Tara Lynn (William); grandchildren, Brittany Cook, Emily Cook, Michael Cook, Ally Turner, Emma Turner, Kennedy Lynn, Matthew Lynn; Several Great-Grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Cook, Max Cook.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the family’s home, 55 Woodcliff Way, Covington, GA 30014, with the service starting at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Scott Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion (Conyers), 674 American Legion Road, NE, Conyers, GA 30012; Alzheimer’s  Association, https://www.alz.org/; or Eastridge Community Church, 863 Hwy 142, Covington, GA 30014.
