Donald L. Hunter of Covington passed away January 21, 2016, at the age of 88. Mr. Hunter was a member of Conyers First United Methodist Church. He proudly served his country in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII. Mr. Hunter retired as a postal inspector from the US Postal Service in 1985. Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Gwen Hunter.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Elizabeth A. Hunter; as well as several nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
A Private Entombment Service for Mr. Hunter was held Monday, January 25, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Memory Chapel Mausoleum in Lawnwood Memorial Park with Dr. Dave Benson officiating. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Music Department of Conyers First United Methodist Church, 921 North Main Street NW, Conyers, GA 30012.
