Donald David Richter

Donald David Richter, of Oxford, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at the age of 64. Dave was a South Newton Official Umpire - he loved to umpire, and he loved the kids. He was often referred to as the kid's favorite umpire. Dave umpired the Miracle League T-League, Pee Wee, and Minor Baseball. He umpired the most fame of any umpire in the last 2 years, mainly at City Pond. Dave was a person that you could always count on to be available to umpire games and he enjoyed doing it. He was a friend to many and will be missed not only by his family but by all of the children who were privileged to have him as an umpire.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Richter; daughter, Tracy Richter (Frankie Harris); son, Jonathan Richter; grandchildren, Michelle Richter, Jack Richter

A Memorial Service for Dave will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, 12:00 P.M., at 70 Social Circle Road, Social Circle, GA 30025.
