Dorothy Donaldson

Dorothy "Nonny" Donaldson of Covington, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the age of 82. Mrs. Donaldson was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Covington. With her strong and infectious personality, she was the heart of the family and kept everyone "in line", but also had a great sense of humor. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing with her family. Mrs. Donaldson loved the state of Tennessee and the Grand Ole Opry. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Mills, Sr., and his wife, Modine.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Billy Joe Donaldson; sons, Sidney Venable, Richard Venable, Brent and Chris Venable, Thom Venable, Marcus Donaldson; grandchildren, Daniell, Richard, Marlies, Randy, Morgan, Kaelin, Melody, Brandon, Bradley, Jonathan, Jordan and Starr; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Maxine Blankenship.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Donaldson will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019, 12 Noon, at The Potters House, 1120 Crowell Road North, in Covington, with Pastor Ricky Bradford officiating. Friends may visit with the family, one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 A.M. - 12 Noon. Mrs. Donaldson's family requests your presence at a dinner immediately following her service. Bring a covered dish and help celebrate Nonny's 'Going Home'.
