Dorothy D. Meier

Dorothy D. Meier of Conyers, GA, formerly of Arlington Heights, IL, went to be with her Lord, March 17, 2010, at the age of 92. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mrs. Meier was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Meier; and her parents, Charles and Ruth (Hines) Dewees. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Meier of Conyers, GA; son, Glenn (Diane) Meier of Minnesota; step-sons, Robert (Rosalie) Meier of Texas, Roger (Coralyn) Meier of Illinois; sister, Marilyn Zilber of Conyers, GA; brother, James Dewees of Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Justin Borawski, Dana Borawski, both of Illinois; 10 other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. A private graveside service for Mrs. Meier will be held.
