Dorothy Juanita Worthey-Mann, of Covington, passed away June 24, 2015, at the age of 74. A dedicated Christian lady, she was very caring and always willing to assist those in need. She enjoyed freshwater fishing and playing bingo. Mrs. Worthey-Mann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dural Dewey and Dorothy Pauline (Jackson) Poteat; husband, Buddy Mann; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sandra Worthey of Covington; grandchildren, Leah and Jarad Robinson of Oxford, Chris and Ashley Worthey of Between; Stacy and Kevin Kelley of Stockbridge; great-grandchildren, Dylan Robinson, Mason Worthey, Easton Worthey; sister, Norma Atkins of Loganville; brother-in-law, Jr. Bates of Conyers; Steven Cochran and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Worthey-Mann will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Cain Hendrix officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, prior to the service, from Noon - 1:45 PM.
