Dorothy Conley Shepherd

Dorothy Conley Shepherd, of Oxford, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at the age of 96. Mrs. Shepherd was a member of Alcoy United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and loved hosting Sunday dinners, which she did for over 50 years. Mrs. Shepherd was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, G. W. Shepherd; son, Steven Shepherd; parents, Attwood and Virgie Conley; sisters, Stella Foland, Dottie Williams, Claudine Royer, Clyo Cooley; and brothers, Herman Ray Conley, John Freeman Conley, and James Patrick Conley.

Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Shepherd; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tina Shepherd; sister-in-law, Judy Conley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
