Conyers

Eddie Ray Scott, fondly known as Eddie by his loved ones, passed away peacefully on the 17th of December, 2024, in Braselton, Georgia. He brought warmth and joy into the world when he was born on the 21st of December, 1963, in Paragould, Arkansas, to parents James Edward Scott and Elaine Crist. Eddie was a man of many talents and deep compassion, who embraced life with a kind heart and selfless spirit. His love for the outdoors was unparalleled; he cherished moments spent hunting and fishing, which brought him closer to the beauty of nature that inspired much of his life. With a creative soul, Eddie expressed his artistic side through metal art, crafting incredible pieces that were not only admired but also served a greater purpose, as he generously donated metal sculptures to aid the Duck Unlimited and the Department of Natural Resources in their conservation efforts. Eddie is survived by a loving family that meant the world to him: his son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Cynthia Scott; his mother and father, Elaine and Rennie Crist; his siblings Michelle and Steve Cole, Sheila McKay, Dave Crist, and Rodney Scott; and his cherished grandchildren Gabriel Scott, Julian Orozco, and Emma Rosado, along with several nieces and nephews. Eddie will be profoundly missed and forever treasured for the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the beauty he created.
