Edward Lanier Malcom

Edward Lanier Malcom of Conyers passed away October 19, 2011 at Rockdale Medical Center. He was 76 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Malcom retired from Lithonia Lighting with over 40 years of service. He loved classic cars and country music. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and preceded in death by his grandson, Shane Malcom, and his parents George and Ethel (Potts) Malcom.
Mr. Malcom is survived by his daughter, Laurie M. Clifton of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie Malcom, Mark and Karen Malcom, Richard and Regina Malcom, all of Covington.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Malcom will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan with Rev. Stan Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, October 22 from 1 - 2 P.M.
