Edward M. Pucko, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 19, 2020, at his home in Smoke Rise, GA. He was born in Miami, FL and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Ed began his career with Southern Bell in Miami and later transferred to Atlanta where he continued his career with the company as it eventually became BellSouth and then AT&T, from which he retired in 2008 after over 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Lane Whitten Pucko; daughter Lee Pucko Davidson and her husband, Chris of Augusta, GA; son, Ed Pucko, III and his husband, Rich Dockery of Smoke Rise, GA; granddaughter, Taylor Davidson and her fiancé, Chase Brett of Sylva, NC; grandson, Matt Davidson of Augusta, GA; brother, Chris Pucko and partner, Lynn Jacobi of McDonough, GA; sisters Maria Pucko of Miami; Elaine Pucko Thomas and husband Bill of Port St. Lucie, FL; Emily Pucko Mardis of Brunswick, GA; and numerous very special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to www.AtlantaCancerCareFoundation.org may be made. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date due to the COVID-19 crisis.
