Elaine K. Stephens

Elaine K. Stephens , of Conyers, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at the age of 85. Mrs. Stephens was a resident of Conyers since 1978 where she was a member of Crosspoint Christian Church. She worked as an Administrative Assistant / Assistance Secretary of Operations Board of Pension for The Presbyterian Church USA for a dedicated 36 years. In her spare time, Mrs. Stephens enjoyed reading mystery and romance novels, and doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Galen and Bertha Cox Knapp; brothers, Atlee Knapp, Floyd Knapp, Gail Knapp; and sisters, Germaine Duval, Ramona Coppins.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Carl A. Stephens; sons, Kevin Stephens, Mark Stephens; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Stephens will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at Crosspoint Christian Church, 4550 Hwy 20 SE , in Conyers, with Pastor Curt Zehner officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church, one hour prior to her service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
