Elizabeth Clewis

Elizabeth Clewis of Covington passed away on November 18, 2015, at the age of 79. Mrs. Clewis retired from Covington Molding. She had quite the sweet tooth, loved listening to Elvis Presley, enjoyed reading, cooking and watching Braves baseball. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Waide Clewis, Jr.; parents, Charles and Genora White; and brothers, Alvin White, James White and Leon White.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Jones (Steve) of Senoia, Cyndi Clewis Park of Social Circle, Mary Elizabeth Clewis of Quebec, TN; sons and daughter-in-law, Waide Christopher Clewis, III (Diane) of Jonesboro, William Darrol Clewis of Unadilla, GA; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Joel Wayne White (Vickie) of Loganville; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Services for Mrs. Clewis will be held Friday, November 20, 2015, 3:00 PM at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road in Covington, with Rev. Allen Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
