Elizabeth Walden Reese

Elizabeth Walden Reese, a simple woman of faith, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, in Eatonton, Georgia. Elizabeth was born on December 18, 1927, in Henry County to the late Ola and Joe Walden. Known for her warmth and amiable spirit, Elizabeth touched the lives of many. A matriarch in her family, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, BP Reese Jr, her sister, Jeanette Willard, Mildred Kimbrell, Mattie Lou Johnson, Sara Cronic and Myrtle Walden as well as her brother Lonnie Walden and sons, Ronnie and Billy Joe Reese. 

Survived by her daughters, Shirley Price, Patricia Duren, Carolyn Reese, Donna Livingston, her adored 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren who cherished her deeply. Elizabeth at a young age started work in the cotton mills in Covington and Augusta ga. Later she enjoyed helping her sister Mildred with a paper route. She enjoyed cooking and reading and doing puzzle books. She helped raise several grandchildren. Her last years were in the care of her daughters Patricia and Shirley. 

A graveside service for Mrs. Reese will be held Monday August the 19th for Immediate family only. at Lawnwood Memorial Park 1111 Access Road Covington Ga 30014
