Elsie Jo Holder

Elsie Jo Holder, of Conyers, passed away April 6, 2015, at the age of 95. Her family was her priority, and she cherished spending time with them. Mrs. Holder enjoyed yard sales, shopping, and working in her home and yard. As long as she was able, she enjoyed attending the First Baptist Church in Covington. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hugh Holder and Ivy Johnson; parents, Ouida and Harvey Crawford; brothers, Wallace, Robert, Monty and Raburn Crawford.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Johnson, Ron Johnson; grandchildren, Nathan Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Amanda Powers, Lindsay Martin, Jamie Johnson; great-grandson, Dylan Johnson; sisters and brother-in-law, Eloise Sherod, Evelyn and Russell, Holder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Karen Crawford, Edward and Leslie Crawford, Barbara Dimple Crawford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Holder will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015, 3:00 PM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington with Pastor Lynn Head officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
