Emma Elizabeth Carlile

Emma Elizabeth Carlile, age 86, of Conyers, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. Mrs. Carlile was a dedicated and supportive mother and grandmother. She delighted in spending time with family and had a special relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Simple pleasures appealed most to Mrs. Carlile; she liked to work in her flower garden, loved crocheting and sewing, and took pride and special care raising Chihuahuas. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gerry Pinson, Jimmy Clancy; parents, Golden and Rosie (Knight) Carlile; as well as son-in-law, Steven Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Polly Johnson and James Day; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Pinson, all of Conyers, Charles Pinson of Covington, Jeffery Pinson of Conyers, Lamar and Michell Clancy of Loganville, John Wayne Carlile of Covington; grandchildren, Tina Pinson, Mary Gill, Christopher Pinson, Becky (Johnson) Hill and Devin Hill, Junior Johnson; great-grandchildren, Gracie Gill, Trey Gill, Joshua Moulder, Kiari Scott, Thomas Scott; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Carlile will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018, 2:00 P.M., at Eastview Cemetery, Eastview Road, in Conyers, with Pastor Richard Pinson officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Monday, September 17, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
