Eric Noel Nichols

Access RoadEric Noel Nichols of Covington, passed away October 8, 2012, at the age of 78. He enjoyed traveling to England and Jamaica to visit his family and friends. Mr. Nichols loved his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lee Mary Jones; his father, Austin Norland Nichols; and three siblings. Survivors include his wife, Vilma Nichols; daughter, Denise Nichols; son, Robert Nichols, all of Covington, Noel Nichols of Bushkill, PA, Errol Tucker of London, England; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 14 siblings; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mr. Nichols will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, one hour prior to his service, from 10:00-11:00 AM. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the banquet room, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington.
