Ervina Kae Campbell of Covington, ascended to her heavenly home on September 1, 2021. She was 64 years old and lived a full life serving Christ through her musical gifts & talents. Ervina will surely be playing the piano when we arrive; and 10,000 years beyond, she will have just begun.
Ervina will be missed and remembered by her family, friends, as well as, current and former members of the church she dearly loved and served 45 years – The Baptist Tabernacle, Covington, GA. Her steadfast faithfulness during difficult times touched hearts and inspired those who knew her best. She had a broken heart for family and lost friends and prayed without ceasing. Anyone who may not have had the chance to love her on this earth, should stop by that mansion just over the hilltop to hear and see God’s amazing grace. She served in ministry with her uncle, Rev R. Hudson Moody, Sr. and Dr. David C. Moody and their wives until death they did part.
Our dear Ervina is preceeded in death by her parents, Jeff & Kate White, all her grandparents, several uncles, aunts, and cousins who are celebrating her arrival while we briefly mourn her departure; but our sorrow turns to joy in the morning, as we know she is safely in the hands of God.
Heavy hearted survivors include: her brother, Richard J. White; uncles Rev Dwight Moody, Dr. John & Eva (aunt) Moody, and Sue Moody (aunt); numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who loved her well. There are simply too many to mention, but they know she loved them.
We celebrate Christ’s victory in Ervina during church services on Sunday, Sept 5, as she requested. There will be a private graveside service with her family.
The family & church family thank you for your prayers and support during the days ahead.
