Evelyn Lewis

Evelyn Lewis of Marietta, passed away October 30, 2014, at the age of 92. Mrs. Lewis enjoyed crocheting, playing games, gardening and working in her son's greenhouse. She loved the Lord and raised her family by faith. She cherished her family dearly, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Erby Lewis; son, Kenneth Crews; parents, Coil and Ira (Blalock) McCarty; and her brothers, GT McCarty, Coil McCarty, Erskine McCarty.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lewis and Tom Williams; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Mary Jo Lewis, Henry and Pam Crews, Wayne Lewis, Joe Lewis, Ronnie Lewis; grandchildren, Latisha Courchaine, Todd Crews, Kim Hall, Stephanie Crews, Ben Crews, Katie Whitley, Jameson Lewis, Brent Lewis, Tiffani Sisk, Chasiti Fite, Paige and Tim Rowntree; great-grandchildren, Carson Courchaine, Gaberial Crews, Sean Crews, Reagen Crews, Madison Hall, Emmy Hall, Cole Lewis, Jentezen Lewis, Justin Lewis, Kristen Whitley, Kaleh Whitley, Memphis Whitley, Nina Whitley, Chloe Rowntree and Will Rowntree.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lewis will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Brent Lewis officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 1, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
