Floyd StreetFannie Jane Fields of Oxford, passed away January 11, 2012, at the age of 88. Mrs. Fields was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and loved her church family and friends dearly. She loved her family, and enjoyed sewing and going out to eat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Buddy Fields; great-grandson, Chasen (Chase) Edward Cain; and her parents, Willie John and Annie Mae (Hammonds) Brock.Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Poteet, Ruth and Billy Hooper, all of Oxford, Frances and Larry Marlow of Conyers; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Mae Hutchins of Decatur. Funeral Services for Mrs. Fields will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. Kenny Dockins and Rev. Todd Heil officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 13, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
