Fannie Mae Monk

Access Road Fannie Mae Monk, of Covington, passed away on December 29, 2012, at the age of 93.  Mrs. Monk was preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Mary Lou (Padgett) Crowe.   Survivors include her husband, J. B. Monk of Covington; children and spouses, Eve and John Evans of Gulf Shores, AL, Ruby and James Sweat of Toccoa, GA; sons and daughter-in-laws, Jimmy and Donna Monk of Social Circle, Bill and Freda Monk of Lexington, SC, Larry and Victoria Monk also of Toccoa; sister, Edna Crowder of Griffin; and 14 Grandchildren including Holly Richardson.   Funeral services for Mrs. Monk will be held Monday, December 31, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Kenneth Hughes officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service from Noon to 2:00 PM.
