Faye Lee Hilley

Access RoadFaye Lee Hilley of Oxford, passed away May 4, 2010, at the age of 63. Mrs. Hilley was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church, which was very important to her, as well as her family and especially her grandchildren which she loved dearly. She enjoyed playing with her dogs, and loved cooking, sewing and planting flowers. Mrs. Hilley dedicated her time working with the local Relay for Life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rabun and Hilda (Mathews) Lee; and her brother, James "Paul" Lee. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Hilley of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Richie Childers; son, Brian Hilley, all of Oxford; grandchildren, Johnathan Wayne Hilley, Amber Childers, Kerstin Hilley, Ashlee Childers, Abby Childers; sisters and brother-in-law, Greta Lee of Social Circle, Mary and Robert Patterson of Douglasville; sister-in-law, Shirley Lee of Covington; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Hilley will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010, 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Brian Dale officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 5, from 5-8 PM.
