Faye Wick of Oxford, passed away October 10, 2015, at the age of 92. Mrs. Wick traveled and lived in 17 different states and several foreign countries, including Indonesia. She was a talented artist and short story writer. "Mrs. Faye", as she was affectionately known, was full of wit and wisdom and always delighted in making others laugh. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Danny Benford of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Marianne Cravens of Windsor, CO; step-son, Donald Wick, Jr.; grandchildren, Jenny King and her husband, James, Riley Cravens, Katie Cravens, Devin Benford and his wife, Laura, Brett Benford and his wife, Nichole; great-grandchildren, Ava Rose, Olivia, Landon; sister, Shirley Jackson; as well as her two nieces, Madelyn and Suzanne.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Wick will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015, 5:00 PM, at Prospect United Methodist Church, 6752 Highway 212, in Covington, with Rev. Ronny Brannen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
