Florence Jones

Florence Jones, of Stockbridge, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the age of 79. Mrs. Jones enjoyed taking care of others and was a wonderful caregiver. She was a magnificent cook and loved her children and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Bobby Eugene Jones; parents, Homer Dewey and Orene Rudasill; sisters, Joyce Jones, Frances Key; brothers, Harry Rudasill, Dewey Rudasill and Hoyt Rudasill.

Survivors include her, son, Robert E. Jones (Christine); grandchildren, Victoria Riddock (James), Austin Jones (Kerrie Lee); great-grandchildren, Ellie Riddock, Hannah Jones; sisters, Jeanette Steadman, Gail Cornell; sister-in-law, Carylon Rudasill; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Jones will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Steven Chambers officiating and interment following in Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Highway, in Lawrenceville. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday, one hour prior to her service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
