Flossie Haines

Access RoadFlossie Haines of Covington, passed away July 18, 2012, at the age of 89. Mrs. Haines was a member of First Baptist Church, in Covington, and loved spending time in her garden. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Haines; daughter, Beverly Lee DuVall; mother, Mabel Gertrude (Brooks) Parker; and her father, Griffin Smith.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Alexander of Covington; son, Walter Richard Haines of Atlanta; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Nina Jo Strauss of West Palm Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews.The family will have a private funeral service for Mrs. Haines. She will be interred in Parkhill Cemetery, in Columbus, GA.
