Forrest W. Isley

Forrest W. Isley of Covington, GA, passed away February 21, 2012. He was 74 years old. Mr. Isley attended Dobyns Bennett High School, in Kingsport, TN, and East Tennessee State University. He began his electrical career with Kingsport Utilities, and later worked for Appalachian Power Company. After moving to Atlanta, Mr. Isley worked for Georgia Power Company, and retired after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruth Isley of Blountville, TN.Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Reinkemeyer, and her husband, Chris, Kimberly Robinson, and her husband, Allen; five grandchildren, Zachary Robinson, Taylor Reinkemeyer, Joshua Robinson, Kristen Reinkemeyer, Kathryn Robinson; sister, Jackie Winters, and her husband, Raymond; a niece and several nephews. A Memorial Service for Mr. Isley will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, following the service, from 11:30-1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Newton County, 1115 Church Street SE, Suite F, Covington, GA 30014. Interment for Mr. Isley will be held in Blountville, TN, at a later date.
