Access Road Mrs. Frances Louise Hembree, 77, of Covington, GA, passed away February 21, 2010. She was the wife of the late Harold Hembree, co-owner of Harold's BBQ, which has been serving Atlanta's community for over 65 years. Frances worked side by side with her husband for over 40 years. Frances never met a stranger, and she always tried to help anyone in need. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Cannon; and her parents, Elbert and Ella Louise Patrick Hash. Survivors include her six children, Buck and Brenda Cannon of Suwanee, GA, Ken and Judy Cannon of Covington, GA, Sunday and Gary Wiley of Sugar Hill, GA, Susan and Tim Wright of Jonesboro, GA, Dale and Teri Cannon of Covington, GA, Surina Cannon of Covington, GA; nine grandchildren, Jodie Cannon, Rich Cannon and his wife, Tiffany, Jordan Cannon, Kyle Cannon, Matt Wright, Melissa Cannon, Derek Wiley, Jesse Cannon, Ashley Wright; four great-grandchildren, Rachel Elzey, Kayla Cannon, Jake Norris, Hunter Cannon; sisters, Martha Gootee of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Ann Young of Blairsville, GA; brother, Kenneth Hash of Flowery Branch, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Hembree will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010, 3 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. David Payne officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, February 22, from 4:30-8:00 PM.
