Frances Traylor

Frances Traylor, of Covington, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 92. Mrs. Traylor will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Oxford Baptist Church, as well as a former member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member of her church, serving as a children’s Sunday school teacher for over 50 years, assisting with church hospitality, as well as singing faithfully in the choir. In her free time, Mrs. Traylor enjoyed reading and sewing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Traylor; and grandson, Micah Shane Traylor.

Survivors include her children, Chuck Traylor (Chris), Steve Traylor, and Debbie Traylor; grandchildren, Brooke Wilson (LaRon) and Zeke Traylor (Adrienne); great-grandchildren, Gavin Traylor, Micah Wilson, Charleigh Traylor, Tyler Frink, and Taylor Frink; Siblings, Eva Traylor, Edna Herring, and Stanton Howard (Dee); Sister-in-Law, Elizabeth Van Curler (Jerry); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Traylor will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Chuck Traylor and Rev. Kevin Wilhite officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 6 until 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oxford Baptist Church, P.O.
