Frank Lester

Access RoadFrank Lester of Covington, passed away June 19, 2012, at the age of 80. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mr. Lester was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Eleanor (McGiboney) Lester; and his parents, Andy Lee and Myrtle (Dunavan) Lester. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Jane Garland, Sharon and Danny Fichter, all of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Donald R. Lester of Eloy, AZ, Randy Lester, Scott and Monya Lester, all of Covington; grandchildren, Brandon Mervin, Garrett Lester, Olivia Lester; great-grandchildren, Libby and Luke Mervin; sister, Mary Hunsinger of Nacogdoches, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, G.T. and Ruth Lester, Huey and Linnie Lester, all of McDonough, Karen Payne of Conyers; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral Services for Mr. Lester will be held Friday, June 22, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. David Moody and Dr. R. Hudson Moody officiating, and interment following in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 21, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
