Franklin (Red Man) Sutton

April 14, 1933 — November 15, 2012

Access Road Frank Sutton (Red Man), of Oxford, passed away November 15, 2012, at the age of 79.  He worked in the automotive industry for 24 years and was a member of the United Auto Worker's of America.  He loved his family and enjoyed singing in the choir, fishing and bowling.  Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his sons, Richard Franklin and Gary Wayne Sutton; great-granddaughter, Morgan Homer; parents, Talmadge and Trudy Maude Sutton; and 3 brothers.   Survivors include his wife, Mary Sutton of Oxford; daughters, Carolyn Robinson of Lake City, FL, and Andrea Lindsey of Covington; sons, Mike Sutton of Stark, FL, John Boling, of Oxford, and Scott Boling of Covington; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.   Funeral Services for Mr. Sutton will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Jerry Barrett officiating, and interment following in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery in Oxford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 PM.
