Fred "Buddy" O'Shields, III, of Covington, passed away August 1, 2018, at the age of 63. Buddy proudly served his country in the United States Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching videos on YouTube. Buddy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred C. O'Shields, Jr.; and sister, Brenda Bray.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Lynnette O'Shields; daughters, Carissa Henderson, Shanda Watkins; sons, Michael Bales, Bryan Bales, Stephen Bales; eleven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; mother, Myrtle O'Shields; sisters, Sandra Hall, Susan Smith, Toni Erickson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
