Access RoadGail Knopp of Covington, passed away June 4, 2012, at the age of 62. She was a member of Porterdale Presbyterian Church. Gail loved music, dancing, camping, traveling to the mountains, staying at their home on Lake Sinclair, and spending time with her grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face, even as she fought a courageous 7-year battle with dementia and Parkinson's disease. Gail's family is thankful to Abbey Hospice, and their staff, for taking such wonderful care of her. In addition, they are especially grateful to Melissa and Keisha for caring for her in her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myrtice (Herring) Singley.Survivors include her husband, Ken Knopp of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Tanya and Greg Lingner of Social Circle, Michelle and Bobby Clark of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Myron Singley of Covington; grandchildren, Jackson and Baylor Lingner, Timothy Lane and his wife, Tally, Brittney Lawley and her husband, Nathan, Kimberly and Haylie Clark; great-grandchildren, Trey, Alisha, and Kaydence.Funeral Services for Gail will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Fred Boozer and Pastor Kenneth Morrell officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
