Geraldine James

Access RoadGeraldine James of Covington, passed away July 29, 2011, at the age of 71. She enjoyed singing, playing the bass guitar, and making contributions to various organizations. Mrs. James was an excellent home maker, and loved taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Lee and Irene (Sanders) Herring; son, Ronnie G. James; one sister and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Bobby G. James; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jim Fouts; sons and daughter-in-law, Terry G. James, Randy G. and Nancy James, all of Covington; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers; many nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mrs. James will be held Monday, August 1, 2011, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Pastor J.B. Leachman and Pastor Tim Walden officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 31, from 4-7 PM.
