Geraldine Capes Moss

Geraldine Capes Moss of Conyers, passed away June 3, 2017 at 86 years of age. A loving mother to her five children, Mrs. Moss was also a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pleasure in cheering on her favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs, and watching NASCAR racing on T.V. Shopping, especially on QVC, was another favorite pastime. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Robert (Sonny) Moss, Jr., son, Darrell Moss; parents, Marvin Emmett and Dorothy (Collins) Capes.

Survivors include her daughters and spouses, Debbie and Bill Walls of Monticello, Donna Mayo of Dacula, Denise and Jane Camp of Chattanooga, TN; son, Dennis Moss of Conyers; grandchildren, James Watson, Jennifer Watson, Michelle Mayo, Mandy and Brandon Bentley; great-grandchildren, Evan James Watson, Maclane Bentley, Camryn Bentley, Saydi Pickens.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Moss will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Adam Cooper officiating. Friends may visit with her family Tuesday, June 6, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington.
